Our Story
Ladovina was founded by fans of mind board games who want this healthy hobby to spread to all people from 7 to 77 years old.
We were born on March 28, 2024. and since that day we have been organizing gatherings with the aim of socializing, competing and developing the brain 🙂 In 2024, we collected a sufficient number of games, of various categories, and created a database of nice people with whom daily tournaments are often organized.
We managed to connect and become partners with Europe Masters. The Europe Masters is an annual board game tournament for teams – the European Board Game Championship.
Ladovina sent two teams representing Montenegro to the European Board Game Championship.
We have launched a great idea, we have organized the First Montenegrin League of Thoughtful Board Games. The league started on 01.01.2025. and has 32 participants coming from various municipalities in Montenegro. It is designed to last 9 months and that in each month the players compete in 4 games that are of different types and complexity.
Every month we have a winner for that month as the best 4 players for each game that was played in that month. Players collect points from each game played and it all sums up in the total score.
We will have the winner of the league in October 🙂
Another great thing is that the people from Ladovina will also organize a team regional tournament in board games Balkan Masters. The goal is to bring people from the region together and to socialize and compete with them. Our wish is to make this event a holiday, to gather and celebrate every year. Balkan Masters is a qualifying tournament for the European Championship EU Masters which will be held in Essen in October.
In October we plan to send the 3 best Montenegrin teams to the European Championship. We hope to help teams from the region to connect with the EU Masters story.
